Trainee Programme

Our trainee programme offers you many opportunities to become familiar with our company along with the financial services offered by the Volkswagen Group. We let you take charge of your future – we simply provide the framework in which to do so.

In 12 months, you'll become familiar with a wide variety of business divisions in different locations around the world. Based on your own ideas, you'll take the initiative and design the different phases of your trainee programme yourself. Managing risk in Braunschweig? Working with a dealer in southern Germany? An assignment abroad in India? These or other similar projects can be yours!

"Learning by doing" is always paramount. But you'll also learn continuously through networking, attending seminars and workshops and taking on special tasks. Finally, you'll want to be ready to take on your first job upon completing the trainee programme.

For the duration of programme, you'll have access to a mentor – a senior management member who will serve as your advisor, helping you plan your programme and development track. As a trainee, you'll receive an indefinite employment contract, an attractive salary and development opportunities in a global corporation.

What qualifications do you need?

You should have a degree in economics, business information systems, business law, financial mathematics or a comparable degree with above-average marks.

You should have already gained some practical experience through internships in your field.

You have demonstrated your initiative, mobility and flexibility by working or studying abroad.

You are fluent in German and English and ideally another foreign language.

Naturally, you possess a high degree of commitment, motivation and enthusiasm as well as team spirit and the desire to take on responsibility.

Together we can achieve more.
