An internship here doesn't mean sitting around killing time. For us, an internship is an opportunity to be active, to take on new challenges and responsibility and to make a real difference. If you have a lot to offer but demand a lot from us as well, your internship is sure to be an exciting experience, and not just for you.
During your internship, which should ideally last three to six months, you'll gain first-hand knowledge of the activities and processes of one of our departments. You'll work 35 hours, 5 days a week, playing an active role in our daily operations and projects and taking on qualified tasks.
If you perform particularly well during your internship and you meet the criteria, you may be nominated by your advisor for the Student Talent Bank (STB). As part of the STB, you'll be eligible to take part in a series of programmes and events within the Volkswagen Group, such as seminars, workshops and field trips. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in events at the AutoUni. The STB can also help facilitate additional internships or graduate thesis assignments in our specialised departments.
